Hey there!
I'm Hannah, a designer and photographer who specializes in web design, branding, social media marketing, and content creation. My process focuses on thoughtful research, collaborative brainstorming, and intentional design to create meaningful, user-centered solutions. I am endlessly inspired by Nancy Meyers films, Martha Stewart, long walks, thrifting, curating my Pinterest boards, reading and finding new favorite coffee shops.

Most recently I have worked at Midwest-based companies like Kendall Hunt Publishing, SocialSurge MarketingGalena Apothecary and volunteered with CreativeMornings/Milwaukee.
MKE Agency Experience
In 2023, I packed up and moved for a role at an agency in downtown Milwaukee. In the year and a half I worked at SocialSurge Marketing I learned the ins and outs of web design, developed 14 fully responsive WordPress websites, and introduced a streamlined design process that improved how we tackled projects. From Brewer’s and Bucks games to trying new restaurants, beer gardens, breweries, cafes, and even a trip to the zoo, I experienced so much of the city through team outings. I still miss the (almost) daily coffee run to the Starbucks we discovered in the Northwestern Mutual building—and all the adventures this job gave me.
Design Education
In 2022, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Indiana Wesleyan University with a BFA in Visual Communication Design and a BA in Honors Humanities as a John Wesley Scholar. During my time at IWU, I had the opportunity to work as a Sports Photographer, Design Intern at a Marketing & Advertising Agency, and Freelance Designer. By my Senior year, I was asked to step into the role of Social Media Account Manager for the Art + Design Division and lead in developing the content strategy.

Additionally, I feel grateful for the opportunity I had to be the Teaching Assistant in Fundamentals of Design Studio. In Professor Logsdon's classroom, I discovered that my love for design education expanded beyond being a student, and building relationships with the students cultivated an interest in teaching design someday.
High School Feature
In 2018, I was featured in Erin Keefer’s Senior Thesis Project, Empowher, a new-age teen magazine with a mission to inspire and empower. I had looked up to Erin for ages and remember being thrilled to be included in such a cool project as a senior in high school.

Erin Keefer is currently an Art Director at Midwest Living Magazine, you can find more of her work at erinkeefferdesign.com. Featured on the left page is my piece, Blossom, which earned a Gold Key in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
